JVS Philadelphia Fund for Women Opens Round 6 Grant Applications December 1

Grants up to $50,000 available for women-owned businesses in Greater Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — December 1, 2025 — The JVS Philadelphia Fund for Women (JVS Fund), founded by business leader and philanthropist Judith von Seldeneck, is pleased to announce the opening of it’s 6th round of grant applications beginning December 1, 2025, through January 30, 2026.

The JVS Fund provides capital and coaching to women-owned and women-led enterprises with strong growth potential in the Greater Philadelphia region. This next round of funding will award grants ranging from $25,000 to $50,000, with a maximum of $50,000 per recipient. Funding decisions are expected to be announced in early 2026.

“We’ve seen firsthand how transformative this support can be,” said Judith von Seldeneck, Founder and Chair of Diversified Search Group and the JVS Fund for Women. “These grants allow women entrepreneurs not only to grow their businesses but to build lasting impact in their communities.”

Since its inception in 2021, the JVS Fund has awarded more than $1.4 million to 23 women-owned businesses, in collaboration with Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Recipients have represented diverse industries—from technology and design to health, education, and manufacturing—demonstrating the incredible breadth of innovation among women founders in the region.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a JVS Philadelphia Fund for Women grant, applicant companies must:

  • Be majority woman-owned and -led

  • Be a legal entity with an IRS Employer Identification Number (EIN)

  • Produce products or professional services with the potential to scale

  • Be headquartered within the five-county Southeastern Pennsylvania region.

  • Have been in business for at least two years

  • Have gross revenue of $200,000 or more in each of the last two years.

  • Have a team of at least two full-time staff

Applications will be accepted December 1, 2025, through January 30, 2026.
